Connie Bohannan

June 5, 1947 - June 11, 2026

Connie Louise Bohannan passed away June 11, 2026, at Aspen Ridge Alzheimer's Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. Connie was born June 5, 1947, in Cross City, Florida, to Knobby Pergossi and Ruth Fuquay. She had three siblings: Charles, Marilyn, and Betty. She has a son, Jason Lindstrom, from her first marriage. Connie met her husband, Tom, when she was working for the United States Forest Service's in Missoula, Montana as a Contracting Officer for one of the helicopters he flew. They married on August 14, 1992.

Connie was employed by the United States Forest Service for twenty years as a Contracting Officer. She assisted in aviation, fire, and transportation support throughout her career.

Connie and Tom enjoyed trips to western Montana to visit family and friends, as well as taking their Jeep on backcountry trails. Connie was also part of a quilting club and was involved in the Baptist church. She liked watching football, too! Connie's favorite shows and movies included "Top Gun", "Blue Bloods" and "Bosch". 

Connie was friendly, sweet, giving, a hard worker, and quick to help others. She loved the outdoors. Connie will be missed by all who knew her. She will be placed at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
