Born June 16, 1943, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Charles Roy Fleming and Bernice Berry, Rosie was Papa Roy's third daughter and Grandma Bernice's first child. She grew up surrounded by her siblings Dorothy, Eileen, Dorrie, and Jimmy.
A lifelong learner, GlennaRose devoured books of every kind and contributed to the self help book SuperMom. Her favorite works were the Book of Mormon and the Bible, which she studied deeply and memorized extensively. Her love for Jesus Christ was evident in the way she lived; the gospel was written on her heart.
Rosie graduated from Grand Junction High School, where she played cello and drove a beloved purple low rider. She continued her education at Mesa College and later at Brigham Young University, earning a dual degree in early childhood education and home economics. At BYU she met Orrin Valdemar Jorgensen, whom she married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on September 7, 1965.
Together, GlennaRose and Orrin raised nine children and built a posterity of 28 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Rosie welcomed many others into the Jorgensen family with open arms.
A gifted pianist and songwriter, she filled her home with music. She taught piano, ran a daycare, and taught English at Stanford and UC Berkeley. In Newark, California, she volunteered in local schools, directed talent shows, and later taught home economics at Newark Memorial High School, where she was beloved.
Rosie retired to spend more time with her growing family. She brightened every room and loved Orrin- her "Mad Dog"- with fierce loyalty.
Rosie returned to heaven on January 16, 2026. The world is better because she was here.
