Rosalee Eleanor Hiner
Rosalee was born on August 14, 1931, in Collbran, Colorado, to Clyde and Zorabell Pettigrew . She spent her childhood in Collbran and Grand Junction. She graduated from Central High School in 1949. She was married to William Vernon Hiner on June 11, 1950, at the Grand Junction Courthouse. Sadly, William preceded her in death in 1994. She lived in Grand Junction for most of her life.
Rosalee is survived by her two sons, Russell Hiner and Clyde Hiner, both of Grand Junction, Colorado; and three sisters, Roberta Hatcher, Diana Blair, and Kathy Livingston, each of Grand Junction.
She was preceded in death by her husband; William Hiner; her parents; her brother, David Pettigrew; and three of her sisters, Pat Rush, Dortha Crain, and Ellen Ford.
Rosalee's main occupations in life were home maker and Cowgirl. She loved her family, horses, dogs, rock and driftwood collecting.
A private family viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, between 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
The funeral service will be held at Martin Mortuary located at 550 North Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado, on August 6, 2025, at 10:00 A.M.
A graveside service wll follow the funeral service at Orchard Mesa Cemetery located at 2620 Legacy Way, Grand Junction, CO 81503.
