She was born on June 23rd, 1925 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She met her future husband, John Madonian, when he was on vacation after his discharge from the U.S Air Force. They got married in 1946 and Rose entered the United States as a war bride. They settled in Troy, Michigan, where their son Richard and daughter Diane were born. Rose worked as an account manager for Pepsi Cola. In 1999, Rose and John moved to Grand Junction to be with family. Rose was an excellent cook and loved to entertain. As a tribute to her mother she wrote a synopsis called Escape From Terror, describing the atrocities her mother Mary endured and witnessed at the hands of the Turkish government during the Armenian genocide. Material things were of little value to Rose. She was kind and generous and brutally honest.
