Age 89, Born 6-4-1936 in Dodge City Kansas. Passed away on June 28th 2025 at LaVilla Grande Care Center Grand Junction Colorado. Born to William Mathias Page and Grace Erma Swaggerty. Betty's siblings are William Page, Georgie Applegate, Effie Issitt, Lila Buckley, Lois Abbey, Jean Moore, Joyce Johnson and Vernon Page. On February 12th 1955 Betty married the love of her life Gerald Bryce McElroy in Salina Kansas. They were married 62 years at which time Gerald preceded her in death. Their children are Talismae Copeland, Carolyn Nadine also preceded in death as an infant of 4 months, Deborah Martin, Martha Rouse, Gerald McElroy, Melivin McElroy, Terry Mcelroy and David McElroy. Grandkids Misty Foree, Chase Dusin, Amanda Reule, Jenni Ploeger, Amber Clark, Tammy Felker, Tabitha Bayless, Scott Meyer, Angelina Meyers, Stephen Peters, Sky Rockwell, Chelsey Ellliott, Brantley Schmidt, Heath McElroy, Joshua McElroy, Jacob McElroy, Brianna Mcelroy, Beth McElroy Micheal Rouse, Makayla Rouse, Cameron Rouse, Faith Wakefield, Bryce Mcelroy. Great Grandkids Alexis. Savannah, Hailey, Treyfin, Adrian, Sterling, Tess, Kenzie, Troy, Trevor, Sam, Nicholas, Clairine, Stevie, James, Kelvin, Aiden, and Greyson. Plus two Great Great Grand Children.
Betty loved her whole family, friends and church. She grew up in Dodge City KS. She had various jobs through her life. Including a nurse aide at Good Samaritan and Fort Dodge. Followed in her mother's footsteps as a dishwasher. Worked at machine shops, Speed King, Curtis and Crustbusters. Also a farmers wife. In her later years she was a BINGO queen and enjoyed word find puzzles as long as they were large print.
