Karol Ruff

Karol Nan Ruff, aged 86, passed away on April 22, 2025, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Born on November 2, 1938, in Albany, New York, Lolly, as she was affectionately known, dedicated her life to serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. While never marrying and having children, Lolly was devoted to loving her fraternal twin sister Kathleen and her family. Lolly was BELOVED by her family, friends and caregivers. Lolly faithfully served and had a deep and genuine love for those in her life, and people loved her for it. Karol's presence is sorely missed, but praise God for those redeemed in Christ, when "absent from the body" are "present with the Lord."

She is survived by her nephews David R. Scheerer (Pam), Andrew P. Scheerer (Ann), and Daniel C. Scheerer; grandnephew Joshua Scheerer, grandniece Amanda Wisell (Scheerer), grandnephews Andrew Scheerer II, and Anderson Scheerer; and great-grandnephew CJ Walters and great-grandniece Emma Wisell.

Karol was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ruth Ruff years ago, and by her twin sister Kathleen only six months ago.

A graveside service to celebrate Karol's life will take place at the Golden Cemetery, Golden Colorado, Friday June 20th from 9-10 AM.
