Kenneth Daniel Kothe
Ken married the love of his life, Ollie Alsleben, on May 30, 1968, in Denver. Together they raised five children along the Front Range before moving to Delta in 2000. Ken worked tirelessly to support his family and retired in 2018. After retirement, he and Ollie enjoyed traveling the country, visiting family, and trying their luck at favorite casinos.
Ken never met a stranger. Whether he was swapping stories or cracking a joke—appropriate or not—he loved to make people laugh. His quick wit, big heart, and easygoing nature made him a friend to many.
He was always there to lend a hand, whether it was fixing a car, stringing up Christmas lights, or sharing hard-earned advice. His greatest joy was helping others and making life a little easier for the people he loved.
Ken was preceded in death by his sons, Glenn and Kelly Kothe. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ollie Kothe; daughters Kendra Hubbard (Don), Deb VonFeldt (Ted), and Kim Suppes (Brian); his grandchildren—Greg, Bradd, Cody, Trey, Blake, Austin, and Zach; as well as twelve great-grandchildren.
Ken leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love. He will be deeply missed.
