Tammie spent her childhood in South Dakota and Colorado, graduating from Fruita High School in 1981. She attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, studying fashion merchandising, and later became an A.B.O Certified Optician, a profession she was dedicated to throughout her life.
She married Michael J. Sineni on May 6, 1999, in Jamaica, and they shared many wonderful years together in Western Colorado.
Tammie had a passion for life and adventure. She loved hiking, cycling, gardening, skiing, and swimming. A motorcycle enthusiast and avid book reader, she enjoyed staying informed on politics and the world of fashion. She found great joy in spending time with her nieces and nephews, as well as volunteering with the Special Olympics Colorado State Games.
She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Sineni of Battlement Mesa, CO; her brother, Don (wife Tyane) Dietz of Lufkin; her aunt, Sandra Milum of Waxahachie, TX, her aunt, Darla (husband Pete) Donahoe of Lockhart, TX, her mother-in-law, Joan Sineni of San Antonio, TX, her sister-in-law, Erin (husband Brad) Mitchell of San Antonio, TX; and numerous other aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald R. Dietz, her mother, Ila-Beth Milum, her brother, Ronald D. Dietz and niece Jennifer Dempsey.
Tammie was an organ and tissue donor, and her gifts will live on through the multiple people she has helped to live, survive and thrive.
