The Art Center of Western Colorado is a regional arts organization dedicated to
enriching lives by promoting the enjoyment and understanding of the arts through
studio art instruction, educational programs for children and adults, and
persons with special needs, exhibitions, and the acquisition, care, and display
of a permanent art collection.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Marketing and Event Coordinator position
responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with communication, event planning,
graphic design and layout, writing, and assisting in planning, coordinating, and
implementing marketing campaigns, press releases, advertising, social media
marketing, events, and project management.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suites
Print layout skills
Strong social media marketing skills
Strong writing skills with experience in creating newsletters, press releases,
and marketing content
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects on tight
deadlines
Experience in digital and print marketing.
A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design or a related field is a
plus.
Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.
