A public hearing has been scheduled for a proposed 60-unit affordable housing, family rental community to be developed at 32 ½ Road and Friendship Drive, Clifton, CO 81520 that is applying to the Colorado Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) on February 2, 2026, to request 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and Colorado State Affordable Housing Tax Credits. The development, Crawford Commons Apartments will cost approximately $24,450,000. The meeting will be led by Evergreen Real Estate Group who is the turn-key developer for the project applicant, Housing Resources of Western Colorado and will be requesting approximately $500,000 in annual State Credit Allocation or $3,000,000 in total credits. The present value of the State Credits being requested is estimated to be $2,250,000. As required by the Colorado Revised Statutes, Article 22 of Title 39, applicants for State Affordable Housing Tax Credits must conduct a public hearing in the community in which the proposed project is located. The public hearing will be held over a Zoom virtual meeting at 11:00am Mountain Standard Time on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Please see the meeting invitation details below.
